Cliff Riggs has seven years of experience at the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) working to combat and protect against cyber threats and risks.

Over five years specializing as the lead intelligence analyst working the pharmaceutical fraud initiative (PFI). Efforts are primarily focused on research and analysis regarding the online availability and sale of pharmaceuticals, including potential counterfeit and “grey” market products. The PFI group consists of NCFTA analysts, law enforcement representatives, and brand protection experts from major pharmaceutical companies. Information regarding domains and bad actors is shared between the group to help identify targets for possible law enforcement action.

Cliff got involved with NCFTA following eight years working in GIS at IBM, as a part of a GIS team working on a NOAA contract, involving digitizing historic shoreline maps and creating metadata files. Previously, Cliff worked as a data analyst focused on the collection, normalization, and storage of large amounts of sensitive data.
