The key takeway: the old standby term “cold chain” no longer encompasses the range of services and technologies important to the industry. And despite the flow of new technologies that have been showcased by IQPC since its first global forum, 18 years ago, there is still a strong appetite for innovation and new technology: operational managers believe that a better supply chain for time- and temperature-controlled products is possible.
