What are the Cool Chain Logistics Europe Excellence Awards all about?
When individuals or teams work hard improve certain aspects of the supply chain, it's an honour to not just be paid for the work but to be recognised for those achievements. The Cool Chain Excellence Awards have been designed to highlight key achievements made within companies and across the temperature controlled logistics industry that produce outstanding results and furthers the definition of best practice.
Before the January conference, the supply chain and logistics community at large will have a chance to cast a vote online.
How does it work?
- The winners will be chosen by our public voting system and expert judging panel
- Nominations close on 29th November 2013
- Online voting then starts on 9th December 2013
- Winners are announced at Cool Chain and Temperature Controlled Logistics Europe in Luxembourg 28th January 2014
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to supply chain, logistics and QA professionals world-wide
- Self nominations are accepted ONLY with a supporting nomination by client or user (not from same company as nominee). The supporting nomination requires a second nomination form to be filled out by the client or user
- A representative from the nominee organisation must be present to win and accept award
Entry Process
- Fully complete and send the completed nomination form to nicola.ambler@iqpc.co.uk
- Send supplementary information to support the nomination to nicola.ambler@iqpc.co.uk describing the project, initiative or team – to be posted online and on-site at the conference for 'public' and 'community' judging including:
- A PowerPoint presentation, highly encouraged to contend with other nominees)
- Whitepapers or published articles
- Team or colleague or customer testimonials
- Word document up to 1500 words or 3 pages
Judging Criteria
- Novelty, pursuit of entrepreneurship and industry best practice
- Technical excellence, content, validity and applicability
- Excellence in efficiency or improvements (cost cutting, improvement docs, service levels, patient safety, reduced risk, streamlined processes, etc.)
- Impact to company, business or end user
