Cold Chain IQ is in the fortunate position to work with a great number of knowledge leaders and well known figures within the cold chain logistics industry. While compiling our whitepapers, articles and webinars, and by attending our global portfolio of events we get to see plenty of good business people, but there are some who we believe make it to that next level – they are true leaders in their field. Each part of this series identifies one such leader and explains what we think sets them apart from the rest.
Ariette Van Strien Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Marken Ariette Van Strien is Marken’s voice of the customer having spent 23 years in the clinical research industry spanning sales, marketing, business development and global operational and project management roles. Before joining Marken, Ariette held senior executive roles of increasing responsibility for CROs managing clinical trials from Phase I to IV. Having worked extensively on the Central Lab and Clinical side, Van Strien brings a unique perspective of this portion of the supply chain to her position.
"If you think of the pipeline right now…we will continue to see an increase of biologics in phase II and phase III, which means of course large trials, more complex trials, more global trials, so it means that supply chain will become more complex," Van Strien says.
