Intelsius Launches 55L Passive Container Providing Over 120 Hours Of Thermal Protection

Intelsius, a DGP company, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of temperature-controlled packaging solutions, based in York, UK has launched the eagerly awaited ORCA S.

Recently launched at leading trade show Temperature Controlled Logistics 2017 where it was unveiled to over 500 leaders in the life science industry, the ORCA S is a single use range of high performance solutions, offering payload volumes of 4.4L, 11.1L, 23.5L and 50L, and can provide up to 96 hours thermal protection for 2-8°C, 15-25°C, 20-24°C, -20°C and deep frozen temperature payloads.

 Continuing the success of the ORCA range, ORCA S is an ergonomically innovative design built with storage purposes in mind, and reduces packing times and errors, making it easy to be fully GDP compliant.

ORCA S utilises advanced Phase Change Materials (PCM) and Vacuum Insulation Panel (VIP) technology, enabling unparalleled optimum performance for single use systems while offering significant volumetric weight savings during transit, particularly helpful in providing a lower total cost of distribution.

A new addition to the ORCA range, the ORCA 55L continues Intelsius’ line of high performance solutions, providing over 120 hours of superior thermal protection for 2-8°C, 15-25°C, 20-24°C, -20°C payloads, as well as deep frozen temperature cargo.

ORCA 55L systems are designed with patient safety in mind and during transit, are able to be used in 8 and 10 panel configurations, to either increase payload or performance.
