TP3 Showcases Thermal Protection Covers at Cool Chain Logistics Europe in Frankfurt

TP3 Global continues to support Cool Chain Logistics Europe in Frankfurt this January 26-29. This is the leading industry event for temperature controlled logistics professionals across life sciences and TP3 will be showcasing the SilverSkin™ range of thermal protective covers as registration sponsors.

SilverSkin™ thermal covers are designed for protection of cold chain and controlled room temperature shipments, an essential component of your logistics and supply chain management solution. SilverSkin™ is a new range of solar material specifically designed to reflect direct sun and prevent air exchange during risk points in the supply chain.

The material has been extensively tested and is available in different cover sizes to suit various skid and air cargo pallet configurations, it can fully encapsulate the freight to defer temperature change to protect against inclement weather and prevent contamination.

TP3’s Technical Director, Peter Lockett, describes the SilverSkin™ PH300 material as pioneering. "Launching a low cost material with high reflectivity was always the baseline, but the PH300 also required additional qualities to make it a primary choice of shippers and freight companies. Reducing thickness of materials (whilst maintaining performance) not only improves efficiency of transportation but also reduces required stock storage space."

Material characteristics are also key to operational ease of use. The PH300 stays in form when shaped around the pallet, making it very quick, easy and flexible to fit. It can also be cut or folded to suit the exact size of pallet, giving huge flexibility and less reliance of holding stock of too many different sizes.
