300 new jobs created by pharma packaging unit

Due to the manufacture of a new 70,000 sq.ft. facility a pharmaceutical firm is in the process of opening up 300 new job positions

Wasdell Packaging Group’s new premises requires an investment in excess of €30 million.

In a statement the firm said that the unit’s location – Dundalk Ireland will not only assist with our strategy of growth over the coming years but also provide our solution to a “hard” Brexit if this becomes a reality.

Storage, distribution, QC import testing and other packaging technologies will be provided at the site which is scheduled to be operational from Q4 of next year. The unit will have serialization and bespoke manufacturing capabilities.
